Safety receives the highest priority from Long Electric Company. Safety on the job requires that our electricians are thorough and detailed oriented throughout the completion of every project. We at Long Electric Co. believe that these same characteristics are responsible for the excellent quality of service that we have been known to exemplify. We make sure that each and every member of our team receives the proper training and education necessary to perform their job safely and efficiently. Some of the resources that Long Electric utilizes to ensure a safety-oriented workforce is by hiring IBEW certified electricians, staying updated on CPR/First Aid certifications and continuing to offer/require training to remain current with the latest OSHA requirements. Long Electric is also a member and compliant with IS Networld.
The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) formally recognizes electrical contractors that adopt safety and health practices as a core value within their organizations. Having the results that demonstrate this commitment is instrumental. NECA’s Safety Excellence and Zero Injury Award Program is an elite safety recognition program focused on the electrical construction industry, recognizing companies that excel in multiple areas of their safety and health.
