The premise of the overall project was to build out new laboratories, however, we also completed significant upgrades to the electrical distribution for the site
This Tenant Improvement (TI) included the addition of a new Quality Control Room and Stability Lab. The electrical scope included new lighting and wireless lighting controls, and new power to lab benches, lab equipment, and HVAC equipment both in the mechanical yard and on the roof. While the premise of the overall project was to build out new laboratories, there was also a significant upgrade to the electrical distribution for the site. This included the installation of a new four section 2000A Main Switchboard, new downstream distribution and panelboards, a new 200 kVA standby Generator, and new Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS). This project was delivered successfully to the client safely and within the project schedule.
