This installation will reduce approximately 1.86 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
This 1.6 megawatt (mW) photovoltaic project at Shasta College is a parking lot canopy installation, leading to long-term energy cost reduction and increased sustainability for the campus. The project scope included the installation of photovoltaic panels, inverters, DC wiring, electrical raceways, and AC wiring along with new electrical distribution. The system also features ten EV charging stations to allow students and staff to charge their electric vehicles while on campus. This project was completed successfully, within the project schedule and with no safety incidents.
